The Networked Computer Science Technical Reports Library (NCSTRL) is a world{wide, distributed collection of computer science technical reports and other relevant materials. In this paper, the authors purpose a number of extensions to the underlying Dienst protocol and software, allowing for the utilization of NCSTRL as a general tool for the online{publication of electronic documents. An enhanced version of NCSTRL has been implemented and is currently in use at the NCSTRL site of the computer science department of Hamburg University.
